Items Show Correctly in Square Up Dashboard But Not on POS/Online Terminal
I am trying to adjust/add stock to my existing items. They all show up correctly on the SquareUp Dashboard. However, when I check them on the POS/online pages, not all of them update correctly. For example, on the Up page it shows I have 6 of an item available. When I go to my POS to check someone out, it will let me add 600 of that item for checkout. Ergh. When I try to adjust the stock via Online, it either A: forces me to add more stock or B: just blanks out and won’t accept any changes. I have only one mobile sales location and am not using Square for website sales. I just need my inventory to sync correctly between the Up Dashboard and online/POS. I am so frustrated. I closed my Etsy shop and switched to Square to help save on fees. I purchased the Square terminal and cash drawer. However, Square charges so much to add the feature that calculates shipping that I have had to switch to selling through my mobile location only. I have invested a lot of money into making this work and am so fed up with it :(. Please advise me on how to get my SquareUp Dashboard and the Online/POS to sync stock properly. Thank you!

Sorry to hear that you are frustrated! When you mention "online", you're referring to your Square Online store, right? Can you provide an example item which is currently showing one inventory level within your Square item library but it showing something else within Square Online?

Thanks for reviewing my question @AdamB. I contacted Square via online chat and was able to resolve my issue. Actually it looks Ike there was a delay for some reason. When the rep and I walked through the dashboard and website (online store) everything had synced up. She also directed me to some shipping hints. Although I’m still not pleased with Sqaures monthly fees for a website that allows real time shipping rates, I did figure out how to set them up close enough to make things work for a bit.
