Is the Square Stand for the late model iPad Air & iPad (Apple no longer makes) being phased out?

Do not know why my stand has a huge gap on the long side? I know the stand is supposed to work with iPad Pro, Air and Air 2 as well, but it looks sloppy and is very loose in the frame.

iPads from the iPad 2 to the iPad 4 are 241mm x 186mm

iPads from the iPad Air to the iPad pro 9.7" are 240mm x 169.5mm

What iPad are you trying to put into which stand?  It sounds like you are putting an iPad air or newer into a stand designed for an iPad 4 as that is the only "bigger" iPad that has a lightning adapter.

Can anyone help? My iPad Pro 9.7 isn’t fitting in the stand.

what isn't fitting? the size or the connector?

what is the model number of your iPad?  iPad pro 9.7" should be A1673, A1674, or A1675
