I use Etsy and input the sale into Square manually afterwards (I don't want to sync Etsy and Square.) I have a 15% of discount coupon on Etsy that's applied to the total sale price, but when I apply the 15% discount on Square it applies it to each individual item in the sale rather than the subtotal of the sale.
How can I apply a Square discount to the total sale rather than each item?

Hey @beans_etc. Square’s POS apps automatically apply percentage discounts to every item in the cart that qualifies for that discount. So, each item is discounted to reflect the actual price you charged the customer. There is also a total discount for the transaction, itself, which is nothing more than the total of all of the item-level discounts. In either case, the amount charged to the customer should be the same on both Etsy and Square. I might be missing something obvious, but why don’t you want your item sales reports to show discounted prices since that is actually what you charged the customer?
