Exporting transactions from Square to MANUALLY add to QBO?

Like many, I'm dealing with the massive fail that is the Connect to Square app integration in QuickBooks Online. The issues I had last year were just bad accounting (putting cash sales into deposit transactions, deposit numbers off by a couple dollars here and there, duplicates), but this year I see I'm missing entire days of transactions, or maybe just half the transaction - like Deposit is missing from a Sales Receipt and no way to then match to my bank account. I may be missing Sales transactions as well - but not sure how I'd know that...

Question: is there a way to export daily summaries from Square to manually add to QBO? For my bank (which it misses days too), I can export in ".qbo" format. 

Thanks for any suggestions, and any suggestions on a better accounting package or process other than the QBO junk.

I export my Transactions from Square as a csv then import them to QB Desktop.  The program I use also has the ability to do this with QBO.  For QBO it runs $25 a month though.  You may want to ask the QuickBooks Online Forum if there is a way to import Sales Receipts / Transactions from a CC processor or online sales to QuickBooks Online.

Since I use the Desktop version, it was a one time purchase and the QBO program can be subscribed to monthly or annually.

I even just checked QuickBooks for how to Upload a CSV sales receipt and the only thing I see is is about connect Square to QBO : https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/banking/connect-square-account-quickb...  

Now depending How detailed you want to be you could look at your Square Sales Daily and manually enter the totals there.

Gross Sales, Returns, Discounts, Square Fees, Sales Tax etc.

So if you would go to your Square Dashboard here : https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/reports/sales-summary  

Set the day of sales this will give you all the data you would need to type into QBO as a Sales Receipt for that day.  This would not keep track of each Item sold, but would keep track of the totals by Day for you.  Then once you print this out or keep a tab open of this report, goto your QBO account and follow these steps from Quickbooks : https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/sales-receipts/record-total-daily-sal... 

What I have found out is the QB's calculates Taxes 1 way and Square calculates them another way, so this causes 'Rounding Errors'.  QB calculates the tax % on the total bill of Taxable items and Square Calculates the sales Tax per Item which causes this discrepancy.  The only way I found to avoid this was to put into QB's the Tax amount Square shows instead of letting QB's calculate the Sales taxes.  

I use QBD which I had to choose since QBO can not handle what I needed at the time. Wave Accounting, Xero, Sage, and Zoho I have heard good things about but have not tried any of them. You need to find an accounting Package that works with you and that your accountant can help you either setup or make it efficient for them to cost you less time and money at Tax time.

Thank you for your response. I've seen you respond in other posts here as well. I had looked at the site and didn't see any details on how to import from Square to QBO, but will look at the video. My current thinking is that I do need a 3rd Party tool and to drop QBO's integration.

Its over an hour long but you can skip to 47:00 to get to where importing a Sales Receipt is.  

What I do for my QuickBooks for my customers is I have Square save the Name, and QuickBooks has Square as my customer for All my sales through Square.  I also use the Invoice number in Quickbooks to Match the Transaction ID in Square so if there is a problem I can find it in Square and Quickbooks easily.  My Bank account for Square Sales ends up being Square Bank, then I transfer my income from Square Bank to my business Checking  since the Deposits from CC sales do not go Directly to my Bank account.
