Export Files for the New Square Store is lacking - FEEDBACK

I just switched over to the new square store and I'm hoping you can add more options to the export files. The old store allowed you to export by "event" or "item" that really helped if you had 1 event that you wanted to send a reminder email to all the people who bought tickets to that event instead of a whole file where I had to filter through all my online sales orders. The export file is also difficult to work with because the item description and the client's contact information is not on the same row so when I filter it by item description the contact information doesn't show up so I end up having to skim the whole file rather than use the filter option like with the old store. Also, it would be nice if the last exported file be saved some where on the dashboard so I didn't have to go to the email to retrieve

OR if I'm totally missing something, please let me know how I can make this more user friendly for me.

Thanks for bringing this to light @imagineplay. I checked in with one of our Online Store specialists and unfortunately, that is the way the export is intended to look. Although it sounds like others have brought up this feedback before, so our Online Store product team is continuing to collect this feedback to help enhance this feature.

Okay, how about adding an email option to be exported in reports or when I export item details CSV under transaction tab to have it included an email or contract info?

We can definitely pass more feedback on to the team that works on our Online Store, but I want to make sure I know exactly what you're asking for first, @imagineplay. It sounds like you were previously using the Orders section of the legacy Online Store to export order information in CSV format. Just to be clear, you are  looking to have the feature pictured below accessible in the new online store - right?

I just want to second this feedback and improved feature request. Square itself has great reporting but the options for online order reporting and exports are lacking terribly. The options that are available don't even seem to work properly.

I need either:

(1) an improved .csv export file so I can use the filter feature in excel to manipulate the table quickly to pull the information we need for our orders (i.e. report of all unfulfilled orders with a specific item or variation, report of orders by date, report of all unfulfilled orders scheduled for pick-up on a certain day etc.). As mentioned in the post above, the way the data is presented with customer information and order status on a different line than the individual items in the order you can't use the filter feature. It's a manual process that is very time consuming and prone to errors. I'd also rather this export file not get e-mailed and could be downloaded straight from the site so multiple employees can run and view it. The table does appear to have most of the information we need, it just isn't formatted in a way that is easily manipulated in excel (that I know how to do).

AND/OR (2) improve filter options via the square or weebly order screen. For instance, in Weebly you can filter by order status, but when I filter by 'Ready' order status I get a list of all 'completed' orders and 'ready' orders instead of just the 'ready' orders. In addition, options to filter by scheduled pick-up date, unfulfilled orders containing a certain item, filter by a specific item variation etc. would be extremely helpful.

Either of these improvements would help us prep for what we need to fill each day, see how many pick-ups we might have so we can staff appropriately, see if our inventory is getting off anywhere (loss, theft, breakage) so we don't oversell products (that's happened a few times).

With the current health crisis all of our orders are online and it is a lot of data to manage. Any improvement you could make soon would be greatly appreciated.
