Error We couldn't Add the transaction(s) due to missing ledger account. Try again later.

I can't seem to connect or sync my QB Online with Square.  I'm getting this message

Error

We couldn't Add the transaction(s) due to missing ledger account. Try again later.

Not sure what to do inside of QB Online or in Square to fix this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey there @crathburn I am sorry you are running into issues with the Quickbooks integration. For this inquiry, you will need to speak with Quickbooks and their support team/ 800-446-8848. They will have to troubleshoot the issue as the troubleshooting we are able to do for Quickbooks is very limited. I know it can be frustrating having to deal with different teams but i’m confident that if you continue to work with the QuickBooks support team they’ll be able to help you resolve this.

@crathburn ;

This basically is saying something from Square to QuickBooks can not be imported to QuickBooks because QuickBooks does not have an account associated with the item or transaction to put this into QBO.  From the information given I am not sure what Ledger Account is missing in QBO for you.  QB in general is good at vague errors.  I had this problem at first when I was setting up QB Desktop up to be integrated with my software.  Do you get an error report stating which transaction or transitions can not be imported?  You might be able to look into those transactions that failed to import.  But you best bet is to talk to QBO help to see if they can tell you and inform you what ledger item is missing in QBO so that you can add or Create it in QBO.

Curious if this was ever solved, I am getting this error with multiple transactions and have not found how to fix or get around this issue. Thank you!

No, this was not resolved like it should've been.  However, I simply just upload my monthly statements to QB each month and have them do it.

I have this issue as well. 3 calls with 3 different QBO agents. None have helped.

Waiting for a supervisor. There is an ongoing investigation.... I hope they figure it out!

Wastin' my time....
