Delete checkout links, events, or items equals lost transaction history.
The other day, I deleted the checkout link, knowing I won't need them again. Luckily, I already downloaded the transactions earlier. However, I went back to check again and noticed it's no longer in the transaction history. The transaction history should not be deleted when we delete the links, items, or events. This creates a problem with long list of links, items, and events that we no longer need. There's no easy way to look for them after deleting them. They should easily be found in transactions by their items, events, or checkout links title. The titles should always be recorded in transaction history. Titles will save us a lot of time rather than having to look for the last 4 digits number, dates, or sources. I have years of links that sitting in my dashboard. I'm itching to remove them because I no longer need them but I can't because I will lose the transaction history.

Hello @ISDOrioles
While I can guarantee that the paid transactions done through deleted links are not deleted I can also agree that tracking down the link transactions to that Link once is deleted can become a hassle. I’d love it if you'd submit this request on our Ideate page for Square Reporting. Our team monitors these boards and we triage them to measure needs. You can search the boards to see if this has been requested before and add your use case if so!
