Customer tried to pay invoice multiple times and transactions are still pending on their credit card

My customer tried to pay his invoice multiple times and the invoice was then cancelled by square. A new invoice was issued and the payment has been received. However, the customer contacted me because two of the failed payment attempts are still pending on his credit card. How do we fix this??

I'm having this same issue. She said it's pending twice at her bank but I haven't received anything. Did you find a solution for this?
