My customer display is malfunctioning. When a person tries to tap their phone number, email, or to tip, the display is entering to the right of what they actually tapped. For example, they press “2” and “3” is entered. Or worse, they tip 10% and 15% is entered. I had to disable tips so customers won’t think I’m trying to scam them. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Sorry to hear about the trouble with your customer-facing display. How frustrating!
When you have a moment, give unplugging the customer-facing display a go, and also check if there are any outstanding updates:
1. Select Settings.
2. Tap Hardware > General > About Register.
3. Tap Software Update.
