Credit Card Sales Missing from Daily Report

Help!

 

About a week or so ago our daily sales report quit showing credit card sales even after the sales were settled. Without these numbers it is hard to balance the drawer for every shift. I have looked through settings  and reports and I do not see any options to choose there. The only way to get those numbers is to log into Square Online dashboard the next day and run the reports.

Since Square has so many daily reports and different systems, which device(s) are you trying to view your daily Credit Card Sales on?

I use the Square Stands and when I click Reports at the bottom then Choose Sales-then 1D top left I get a total of all my Daily Sales CC and Cash.   I scroll down a little then I see Total Collected ---Below that CARD ------ follow to the Right and shows my Sales for Credit Card totals.  Below that it does the same for Cash----- On the right side it puts the dollar amount of Cash Sales.   I looked on my Android phone and it shows this same thing, both the daily Credit Card total sales and the Cash Sales that were run through Square at the Square Stands.  So can you please give a little more detail on where you are looking at Reports and What Steps you are doing to get to these reports and which System you are using.... Register, Terminal, Square Stand, Apple Device, Android Device etc.  Also are you using Square POS or Square for Retail or for Restaurants?

We are using the Square for Restaurants on an ipad/stand system. The report they run every night is from that system; the click on account management and then go to Daily Sales Report. We have been using the system for a couple of years with no problems with this report. As long as the bartenders remembered to settle their card transactions, they showed up under the daily sales report for the day. This report has a line for cash and one for cards, etc. also show the fees that will be deducted when the credit card sales hit the bank. It prints from the system to the square printer.

 

Out of nowhere the line for credit cards is blank even when we have processed cards and settled them at the end of shift. If we log into square dashboard (online) and run the sales report, the total with credit cards show up the next day.
