Connection error - unable to connect to the internet at sign in

On my iphone 7 plus when I open he app and try to sign in I get a message that says  CONNECTION ERROR - unable to connect to the internet.

My internet is fine and works for everything else.  I delted the app and added it again.  No change.

I saw someone else asked this over a week ago but no one replied.  Can anyone help me?

Are you using wifi or 4G?  If you want to use your 4G connection be sure you turn your wifi connection off in the settings on your iPhone.
