Change Due display disappears after about 1 second

We are using the Square Register and have been for a bit over 2 years. When we reopened after the COVID shutdown the Square Register updated itself as we expected. One of the changes after this last update is that the Change Due display when a person tenders cash only stays on the screen for about 1 second.  Way too short to be of any use. 

 

Is there a way to increase the time that the Change Due displays?  This is quite problematic and has only occurred in a relatively recent update.

Hi @Harris2508 it sounds like there is a small glitch that needs to be worked out. First make sure there are not any extra updates needed. If not, try restarting your Register and reconnecting the customer display. 

 

If you're still experiencing issues can you try resetting your Square Register to see if it will behave normally after that? Please know that resetting the Register will cause you to set up your register again, so make sure any pending payments are settled before doing so.
