Can't Add New Category

Building out a new site.  Was going well... 3 categories and various items.  Went to add the 4th category and keep getting a "something went wrong" message.  Have tried 3 different browsers and they are all the same.

Any suggestions out there?

Hi Doc, 

 

No idea what's going on to be honest I'm in the same position - trying to add a subcategory and always errors out on multiple browsers.

very frustrating.  restarted the computer.  tried other browsers.  all was working fine.  then not.

I noticed the same thing. Tried 2 different browsers, 3 different computers, the Weebly app and still no luck. I emailed customer service on Thursday and hope to hear back from them on Monday about this issue. I will update if they have a solution.

UPDATE.  Tried everything for two days. Gave up and decided to wait until there was some solution, and then this morning tried again and was able to add the category.  I have no idea what the problem was, but for now it's been fixed.  Weird.

Can everyone else please confirm if they are still seeing an issue? I'm not seeing any confirmed reports through the support center, but it almost sounds like there may have been some intermittent sync delays going on. Did anyone notice an error when trying to perform any other type of action? 

 

I'll try to get some more clarity on the issue. Please let us know if anyone is still having trouble creating a category or subcategory in your store.

It seems to be working now, but I have one duplicate category that I can't delete. One links correctly with sub pages, the other one sometimes gives me a 404 cannot find page message or just links back to the main page. I can't see it on the editor screen and can't get rid of it.
