Anybody using a Huwaei Honor 7 PHone for Square?

Am new to Square. I set up my reader on delivery and it all worked fine. Came to use it today and it won`t work. I have a Huwaei Honor 7 Android 6. phone. Does anyone else use this phone? as  Square support tell me its the phone thats the problem.
