When we receive merchandise on a Purchase Order, I enter the shipping under "fees". What report can I run to see these fees for a given amount of time?

Hi @shopmingei,
Sincere apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this one!
At this time, fees associated with Purchase Orders are built into the item’s unit cost. Therefore, they are factored into the item's COGS report, and not recorded separately in terms of reporting.
The best way to record the fees separately, would be to export the PO as CSV and view them from the Excel sheet row for Fees.
I appreciate this is not ideal, and have raised this to our product development team. I'm afraid however there are no plans at this time to amend the reporting functionality. I'll be sure to let you know if that changes.
In the meantime, if you require additional reporting functionality, you can also check out our integration partners who offer advanced reporting solutions on the Square App Marketplace.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to answer. That's not how it's working on my end though.
I do see the unit cost being adjusted on the Purchase order itself, but not in the item's information. I'd like to attach an image of the PO that shows a unit cost with the shipping fee added, and an image of the item itself with the original cost without shipping fee added, but it says I don't have permission to upload images.
That's why I'm trying to figure out where that shipping fee gets reported out, other than on a print out of the PDF--because it doesn't show when you view the PDF on the screen either, only when you print it.
Thanks. I'll upload images if I am able to at a later date

Hey @shopmingei, I am sorry you are still having issues.
To clarify, where are you getting the error you don't have permission to upload?

Hi Maya,
When I tried to reply to the message and attach a photo for a visual of what I was trying to explain, it said I didn't have permission to upload photos to the message.
Thanks!

I circled back to our Retail team @shopmingei, and they responded that at this time, adding the shipping fee does not change the item's unit cost in the Item Detail sheet. It only changes the unit cost within that PO.
