What barcode label printers work with Square stand? Do I have to get the Zebra model? Or will a blue

Just wondering who has had success printing barcode labels from their square stand and what printers they are using.

We use a Dymo Turbo 550 to print our labels from Square.

When you go to print barcode labels it has a drop down that shows different label printers. I would stick with one of those options that show on that drop-down list.

I agree with what @BofBArtStudio has said and I'd like to add that Square has a great hardware compatibility page where you can verify what will and won't work with various Square hardware. It's a great page to bookmark for any addons you may want to do over the years.

I would stay with the Recommended Square Barcode Printers which after looking were only the Zebra printers.  This is because they were tested and work with the Square Stand hardware.  This means that if you try to setup and connect another brand of printer to your Square Stand, it may not recognize it to Print to it through Square.  Now the Barcode printer you choose and use another device to print Barcodes with may work for that other device and Print Barcodes that Squares Hardware can read.   If you use your computer and Square Dashboard through Chrome web Browser for example you could use more Barcode Printers brands for example.  

So in short if you want to print your Barcodes from your Square Stand stick with the Square approved models.  If you want to print barcodes from a Computer through your Square dashboard you can use other brands too.  

For my labels I use 5- Zebra 420 models for my 5 differnt label sizes and my Square Stands have no issues reading the barcodes with Square approved scanners, but these do not work to print from my Square Stands with my custom label sizes.
