Using Square for distant credit card sales - manually entered transactions

I've used square with my iPhone successfully for a good while now. However, I'm going to receive an order from client who wants to pay by credit card, but they are 1,000 miles away and so won't be able to sign my phone. How can I take this order without the signature step?

Hi @RPittman, congrats on receiving the order. Since your customer is a ways away, you can manually enter their card information or you can send them an invoice.

For manually entered transactions, our fee is 3.5% + 15¢ per transaction. When it comes time to process the payment, from your Register app, ring up the transaction, tap Charge, and then Credit Card to enter the relevant info. This article has more details: http://squ.re/1CeBgYl.
