Star Loyalty Program

I do not use square store for inventory, I use it to email invoices and take swipe payments. Will the star loyalty tracking work for me? For example, If I set it up for 10 stars at $25.00 each for purchase, then give $20 loyalty reward to customers. They only make invoice purchases, if they put in their phone number will it track for them?
