Hey there, @Gvoneberstein. I’ve gone ahead and changed the status of this feature request to “Open”. You provided a great assessment on the potential business use/need for something like this on our platform from a seller’s perspective. This is a useful tool for our Product Team to use as they build the future of our products. As more information becomes available, a Community moderator will come in and change the status letting all of the subscribed sellers know. Thank you again for your input.
I make and sell interchangeable tiles for frames and between 20ish item listings with several variations each, there are almost 150 tiles. Often times, people want to add multiple variations from one listing since they coordinate within each listing. As it stands now, they have to add one to their cart, then go back to the listing and add another. To see what I mean, you can view at www.statisticallyblessed.com.
I sell a variation of egg rolls. Online they can purchase by 2 but there is also an option for them to mix it up - choose 1 of any roll then add to cart. I had to set the mix it up option as a modifier setup but unfortunately this option is not great for reporting or managing stock. For example, brisket Mac n cheese egg rolls is an item (components of 2 brisket Mac n cheese egg rolls). mix it up is listed as an item with modifiers, 1 brisket Mac n cheese roll is listed. Since the two do not speak to each other, the mix it up item will not see if I sell out of the brisket Mac n cheese rolls. www.ninacreole.com
