Retail Shortcut Buttons to categories

With Standard Square POS we had the ability to create custom button shortcuts on the checkout screen to CATEGORIES. This allowed us in one click to select, for example, "candles" and bring up all in that category with a shortcut button. Does that exist in Retail? It seems to be only an item list with Favorites, but not customizable or able to be categories. Can you please advise?
