Reports of Open Tickets
Hello!
I know that reports are not available for open tickets, but I'm hoping someone has a work around. We would really like an easier way to keep up with how many tickets we have, when they were created, and the name of the customers associated with them.

As far as I'm aware, I haven't checked up on this for a few weeks, there's no way to see open tickets on the dashboard. You just have to look at the tickets screen on the POS app on your tablet.
On the POS Tickets screen, you can see the name of the customer if one was put in and the time duration of the ticket. You can add a name manually or from the customer directory if a customer was added to the ticket. You can also swipe a card to add a name to the ticket. I had to try just now to confirm, but it doesn't work with the chip reader, just the swipe reader. You can also sort open tickets here by name, total, recent, team member. You can even search for a ticket.

I'm assuming you have turned on open tickets on your POS.
Online orders will also be on a separate screen and not included in the Open Tickets list.
I don't believe any incomplete online orders, or orders people are starting online will show up anywhere.
Is there a reason the tickets screen on the POS isn't giving you what you need?

My sports club bar uses Square POS and generally it works well. Except for the Ticket feature. We use this when customers want to pay weekly or similar. at present there is no reporting on open tickets so I cannot easily check on the number and amounts of open tickets. This is a problem because these are effectively sales that aren't yet paid and closed and an important part of the bar throughout.
On the US forum it seems like there is a development possibility for such a feature. Any timeline on this?

Reports for open tickets are not available, and we don't have a timeline for when this feature will be available.
