Recent update to sqaure register

Im not sure how else to get this to customer service without calling them. The new process for ringing up an order is horrible. We have a gift store that also has a coffee shop and we use the square for retail register for all of it. Now when we are ringing up coffees it takes so much longer because we have to click into each modifier in order to change the size, temp, flavor etc of a drink instead of just being able to highlight the options we want within one screen. I really wish square would focus on the updates that all of us on the square seller community have been asking for for years instead of useless updates that change the way the most basic things on the register works. My entire staff is upset about the change. I want it to go back to the version before this. I would be happy to talk to someone at square about this.

We are having the same issue! We sell ice cream and use the modifier options for almost every item we sell. Now we can't do 2 of the same items consecutively as it matches the modifier of the previous item. I can't believe this wasn't thought out better for all. It's a literal nightmare. This is the first update that has me looking at other options for POS.
