Receipt automatically sent to wrong person and I don’t have it set on auto
I need code to call in and can’t figure it out this is ridiculous

Square automatically sends a receipt to a customer if that customer's email address is in the system. However, sometimes an email can be mistyped or an incorrect email can be inputted somewhere along the line. I've seen times where a prior merchant put their own email address in the email receipt screen!
The easiest way to fix this issue is to have the person who received the email to open the email, click on the Manage Preferences link at the bottom, and follow along the screens to remove the email from the system. If they want you to do it, have them give you the date and amount of the receipt. Go to your transactions section of the dashboard, find the receipt, and open it. Click on the three blue dots in the upper right, Edit Customer, and remove the email address. This will remove that address from the system. The customer will be prompted to enter their email again the next time they make a sale with any Square merchant.
