I am trying to import my shopify store into square. I used the provided square template, didn't delete any of the square columns, used their original column names and only put info in that was reqd by square. It's primarily clothing with one size option with option names ranging from O/S, S, M, L, XL, XXL, 1X, 2X, 3X. The Shopify data came over with just the name of the product on the top line but not on the size option lines below it, so I copied the name onto each line. Then I copied the same name into the description lines and into the Variation lines.
When I uploaded the xlsx file to square, Token said None so I left it that way and tried it again with choosing my file name instead of None. Didn't work either way.
For all the other things like Option Name and Value etc., I chose my file name and below, each time, it said "Token" instead of the column name for that item. But I ran it anyway.
No matter what I do, I always get the same error:
There are 100 errors in your document. If you need to make any changes, re-import your file.
The Item Library requires that all items have names. Please add an Item Name in row: 2 and try again.
The Item Library requires that all items have names. Please add an Item Name in row: 3 and try again.
And onto line 4 and probably to the last line in the file.
Interesting that it didn't say I had to fix line 1. But whatever. Here are screen shots of my file, 1st one starting with Token column & 2nd continuing to show the last columns.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @Maralyce- Thanks for sharing this info with us.
This thread has some troubleshooting steps shared from other sellers who were getting the same error message when trying to import items. It looks like they had some success after some trial and error and shared their experiences.
Hope their suggestion help. But if you continue to run into problems I'd go ahead and contact our Support Team so they can take a further look.

Thank you SO MUCH for your reply and sending me to that thread. My upload just succeeded with zero problems.
Things I did that made it work:
- I used the actual excel file sample that you offer as my upload file & didn't change anything in it except for adding my data.
- I took the data from my shopify export and put it in the correct columns in your excel file.
- I copied my item names into the description column.
- I put the same item/description/Category names into each line for every variation of an item.
- I at first made the mistake of not using the Variation Name column at all and instead used the Option columns & put "Size" in the first column and the actual sizes (S, M, L, etc.) in the 2nd options column. This time, I put "Size XS" etc. into the Variation Name column & nothing in the Option columns.
That's it. It took me forever but it is done. 🙂
