Orders not showing up on the App - when I see them in the POS

I recorded an order in the dashboard (assume took an order from my office for pickup later) - clicking create order
I can see it on the POS Terminal
I cannot see it on our ipad running Square for Retail
I was told "you can't see order placed on the virtual terminal in the app"...that makes no sense. In fact I see the "1" indicating a new order but can't even clear it because I can't see it.

 

This is for someone who will pay at pickup - if you are wondering why I don't just process as a sale.

 

Is there a best practice here?
