Hi,
I created am event a week ago and had it listed as unavailable until today. I went back in to update a few details and set the event to "visible" and, it does not show under any category that I select it to be under.
Is there something I might be missing or is this a small glitch? This is my first time using the event item type.

Can you take a screenshot of the item after you go to Square Online > Items > and select the event?

So sorry to hear about the trouble with your event - we are here to help. I'm going to echo Isabelle here on her troubleshooting steps above. Can you take a screenshot of the item after you go to Square Online > Items > and select the event?

yes those events. i switched them to category physical item because i gave up. they won’t show up if i put them in the category events.

the events when under the event category don’t show up in my online store. they are visible on my POS and also visible when someone clicks on the direct link to each specific event that i posted on facebook.

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble settings up your event. Can you post a link to your site, and let us know the event name so we can take a look?

Was this ever fixed? I am having the same issue. Shows up if i use the retail template but not the restaurant template which is the template i need to use.

This is a big issue here too, and I've spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. It would be so great if someone would share how this is actually supposed to be set up (or fix the usability issues!!!). I'm trying to set up events, and have gone through all the settings I can find, and nothing I do makes them show up on my site. I can link to them directly! But that's not what I'm trying to do. Thanks.

I have strangely found a solution. If you globally set your business as NOT having "pickup" in the "fulfillment" section, then events magically appear...

At this time events can only be listed under the Events section. Sorry for the confusion there. If you wish they would be listed in a different way, I recommend submitting a feature request here.
Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
