Square charges a monthly fee for Square for Retail, but businesses can not use the Cost of items Correctly, weather it is entering a Straight up cost of an item, On a Receiving Report or on a Purchase Order. I would say MOST retailers buy items in bulk at a set price. There by making an item actually cost fractions of a cent. People have been bringing this up since 2016. I saw the suggested threads that dated back to then when I typed in the Title for this Feature Request. But probably like most feature requests Square will not do anything or think this has nothing to do with accepting a CC payment, but it should be standard features in Square for Retail that people are paying monthly for. To me paying for Square for Retail is basically useless for these rounding errors constantly appearing between Accounting software and Square for Retail. This should be Square for Home Based Flea Markets not for an actual Retail store.
I pointed out why it is important to have more than 2 decimal places in this Topic :
I typed in a search for More than 2 Decimal places, there were 1358 PAGES on this topic to show how many people are or were looking for this feature. I wonder how many stopped using Square or Stopped Paying for Square for Retail because in Retail we only have 2 decimal places for item costs, not really needed for sale price or a cost to a customer unless we sell in bulk like a Distributor or Wholesale Vendor which could come up as a each item is $10.30 but if you buy 1000 the price drops to $9.8942 each or some weird fraction.
Here are Screen shots for this feature requests since not many people seem to go here to see the Ideate board unless they are REQUESTING a Feature not to see if one that could benefit them has been requested.
