Make item variations (sub-items) into their own items without re-entering?

I added some inventory items as variations under a main item category, but after trying to add them to my Weebly site, I realized I need them to each be their own item (so I can add images and descriptions unique to each one). Is there a way to automatically "move" them into their own items from underneath this main item...or do I need to delete and re-enter each one? Weebly won't let me pick each item by itself, and keeps them linked as sub items.

Hi @HC_Charlie.

There's not a way to "easily" move a variable to it's own item. You're spot on in your assumption- having to delete the variation and recreate it as its own item.

Hopefully you don't have too many variations to delete and recreate. Sorry it's not the easiest route to take.

Thank you for your answer. I was thinking this was the case. It won't be too bad...the more I'm exploring developing the website, the more I'm understanding connections between Square items and how they interface in the Weebly site. Thanks!

This needs to be added as a request.  I'm having the same issue.  I should be able to just choose to reallocate them to their own item so as to keep their SKU number consistent.
