Has anyone else noticed a lag with the newest square stand with today's (8/29) update? When we tap or dip it takes several seconds for the lights to start flashing, Tap to pay is really slow.

Hi there, @MountainHouse - Just want to clarify that app version 6.24 is not related to the issues we experienced last Thursday. For more information on that, please see this post that we just released.
In the coming days, a Square Point of Sale update (version 6.25.1) will resolve the disruption experienced by some Sellers using Square Stand and the Square Reader for Contactless and Chip connected via USB on Point of Sale version 6.24/6.25. Impacted Sellers may see a message indicating that the reader has disconnected. If you are seeing this message, it is recommended that you connect to Bluetooth for the time being. You may return to using USB after upgrading to 6.25.1 when available.
I don't have an exact ETA on when 6.25.1 will be available but I can see that we have submitted it to the App Store and are currently waiting for review so it shouldn't be too much longer. Thank you for your patience and understanding in the meantime 🙏

Yea I had the Updates for IOS too, but also updated from Square for Retail 6.25.1to Square for Retail 6.25.2 yesterday. Then today when checking versions, I had another update notification for Square for Retail which took me to 6.26 (6260024) on my one stand.... the other one is not showing an Update is available in the Square app, and is still on 6.25.2. Waiting to see if there is an issue with 6.26 before updating the other stand.

I got 6.25.2 update last week, and 6.26 this morning.
