Is there any way to create a one-coupon per sale automatic policy?
Hi guys,
We had been experimenting with sending very simple $5 off coupons via a weekly update email and have just noticed that multiple customers have stacked 2, 3 and even 4 coupons to one (small!) purchase, in essence taking merchandise for free.
I thought this was possibly my employees fault for letting them enter multiple codes but it now seems that Square was just automatically adding in these coupons for them. Is there any way to stop/limit this automatically?
These are Square Marketing email generated coupons, used in-store for retail - not online. Thanks in advance!
Andy

Hi @webuyrecordsmke - I wasn't aware this was something that could happen. If it is happening, it might be something the Square team, Helen, would want to know about.
Our coupons are hand-entered by staff. I suppose if I was seeing abuse I'd put a policy in place where no more than one coupon could be entered. I've attached a brief thread from the past about the below.
