Is an item locked when a customer has it in their cart?
The title of this post has been edited by a moderator.
Why isn’t an item locked when a customer has it in their cart? Another customer can also add the same item which shouldn’t be available. Help ASAP as I’m starting my online store Friday April 3, 2020

Hi @Chicmarketplace. Good question.
The Weebly site doesn't lock or remove an item from your inventory if it's in a customer's cart. The item or items will be removed from inventory once the order is actually placed and paid for by your customer.
I hope this helps clarify. I'm curious to know if you have customers who reach out about this at all. If so, would you mind reporting back so we can include that in feedback to our Product team?

I must have misunderstood @Chicmarketplace. Have you adjusted stock from your Online Store and this is still happening?
