This may be a little bit of a weird question, but I'm wondering if anyone has some insight. I'm the IT admin working for a retail company, we recently started using Square, where we are just manually entering prices when people check out. Our plan is to have most of our products in Square inventory so we can scan them for checkout. My boss has me under the impression that Square is supposed to take our spreadsheet/CSV files and import them directly into the Square inventory using those files. The way it has been described to me by my boss would make it sound like we don't have to go in and create any items ourselves.
The real issues lies in the fact that my boss and manager have both tried numerous times to contact various Square **bleep**ociates with little to no response, so I can't even get any clarifying information. So, mainly I'm wondering if anyone here has had Square import products like described above or not.
I'm also wondering what are the easiest/best ways of contacting Square other than by phone, or at least their main support phone number since I think we tried that already, but not sure. It seemed to me there used to be a general support email you could send to, but now I can only find help@squareup.com which apparently can't receive emails.

Thanks for the response, that contact page is something I hadn't found before so that should be useful.
However, with the import situation, my boss had me under the impression that Square would provide a service of importing the items for us. As opposed to us having to do really anything other than emailing the spreadsheets to a Square asociate. Although, that feels unlikely and there might just be a misunderstanding, unless anyone else can confirm it. Either way I'll be pursuing those contact options as well.

If you go on to a computer not Ipad or android or any other Square device and log into your Square account
select Items
Actions (button) on right side in a windows PC
export Library as a CSV file.
this will give you a template of your Squares Item Library in a spreadsheet
Take your old CSV file and copy the columns that match the headers for square and paste them in the square file,
you can not just upload your file since the order of your headers may not be the same.
What I would do is download your items csv file save it as new items for square, and then copy paste your items from old csv file to this one, to keep the names correct and if these mess up into square you can overwrite the screw up with the original file.
Then go back to Square-Items- Actions-Import csv file
this does not allow the import of pictures tho
