How to....?

I have two items that I am selling, T-Shirts. I have a blank stock pile, when T-Shirt is ordered they order from my site with a one of two designs. If they pick design A, how do I link the inventory in design B to go down as well as design A.

My question is, can you link item inventory?

Hi @gsisports, thanks for bringing this up.

We don't have an exact inventory setting built into our current Item Library that would allow you to simultaneously count down multiple items as you've described.

If you haven't considered it already, you might try using modifiers for your various designs. This should allow your customers to pick their design and t-shirt, yet allow the inventory to properly reconcile. You may also want to have a look at RCT's suggestion for tracking inventory and modifiers.
