I need to reduce inventory while items are in saved carts in the POS

I have an online store and sell soaps (these bars are cured for 6 weeks so it is not like if I oversell I can just go whip up more and get it shipped out) - my husband takes a bag of bars to his work every now and then to sell to the people he works with - I would like to make a saved cart for all I send him with and then when he gets home I can ring up what he sells and put back what he does not - only issue is it does not hold out the inventory he has and I can oversell bars if I get an order for something he has sold in person. When will we get this added? I have seen posts from years back asking for thins and nothing. There has got to be a way to fix this.

I would also like to see items held in saved carts to reduce inventory.

Even if inventory in saved carts showed as "held" or "unavailable" until the cart was checked out, it would certainly be helpful. As it stands, a manual inventory count has to matched against any saved carts to ensure they're accurate, and the danger of overselling is very real.
