Trying to set it up so employees can clock in and out on Square for Retail. There is no option to apply this feature on the retail terminal and when I try to set it up on the dashboard it is asking me to pay. I have less than five employees and do not want to pay for Shifts Plus.

@bm123 You should be able to go into settings scroll to the add ons and select shifts then allow time tracking. That should switch the option on for you!

@Lovewell is correct. Here are the exact steps to make sure your employees can clock in and out on Square for Retail.
If you're using Passcodes in combination with Time Tracking, you'll need to enable both of these in-app. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Visit Settings while in the Square app
2. Select Passcodes, and toggle Enable Passcodes on
3. Select Time Tracking and toggle Time Tracking on
4. Then you'll see a clock icon in the corner of your screen from the Checkout Tab.

I am able to partly do this. I log out of Square for Retail and into the Square POS app and toggle on Enable Passcodes. However, when I try to toggle on Time Tracking, it asks me to select a Shifts plan and asks for a form of payment.
Ok! I figured out that I can toggle this setting on Dashboard on the Edit Device screen. Thanks for the additional help.
