How do I clear "no sale" from pending transactions?

In the last few weeks, whenever we use "No Sale" to open the cash draw without completing a transaction, the "No Sale" will end up as a pending transaction instead of with the transactions of each day in the transactions screen of the Square for Retail app. When I click on the "No Sale" transaction on the side of the screen to the right that shows the transaction detail (normally where you see the full list of everything purchased) I just get a spinning circle like its trying to load. This isn't a huge problem because they are only No Sale transactions and not regular, but there are now 34 of these pending No Sales and its inconvenient to scroll through that many just to get to get to today's transactions.  Anyone experience this? Know how to get rid of it?

We've been using square for our POS for less than a year and this is our first issue. Also, the app and the iPad are both up to date, in case that matters for a fix.

@HSWV ;

As I see this is your first post let me welcome you to the Sellers Community Forum.

I do not believe there is a way to delete the 'No Sale' transaction from your records.  Square sees this as a Transaction to Open the Cash Drawer and will keep it in memory incase case is found Missing in the future.  The Time and date can be used to look on security cameras to see why the Drawer was opened and if money went missing.  We have been using the no sale button to open the cash drawer quicker as it has been taking about 6 seconds to open the cash drawer to complete a sale, where as pressing No Sale opens the Drawer immediately.

I am also usining a Square Stand with Ipad with Square for Retail in case your wondering.

Good idea to use "no sale" time and date to look at security cameras @Candlestore. I used to think "no sale" was unnecessary and would clutter transactions, but now I can see its value.

Perhaps instead of being in transactions, Square could have a "register action" section.
