A gift card was accepted as cash. Is there a way to void the gift card without refunding the customer?

Yes you can!
There are a few ways to do it.
Fix it Option:
1. Refund the original transaction, and re-ring it up using the gift card.
Balance Clearning Options:
1. POS - On your POS you can click on Gift Cards, then Swipe the Card to Check Balance, and then you can Clear Balance.
2. Web Dashboard - On your Web Dashboard (www.squareup.com/dashboard), you can go into Gift Cards (https://squareup.com/dashboard/gift-cards), find that gift card, and then click Clear Balance.
Both of these will only clear the balance, and will not refund the customer.
