Different reward values for items inside of a category?
We have been using Square Loyalty in our cafe for about a year, and our point system is based off of categories. Drinks get 1 point, and bags of beans get 3. We've introduced larger bags, and want to offer a higher reward for those. Problem is, we keep all the bags of beans in one category for reporting/accounting purposes. Am I correct that if I want to add a per item reward I can't use category discounts? Is my best solution to make a new category for each size bag?

@Seandonnelly You are correct. The ability to have different levels of loyalty points is currently a feature request, so you would need to create a new category for the larger size/different sizes. Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂

It takes a bit more times depending on how many items you have, but you could also set up your loyalty program based on individual items rather than categories, so you can keep your categories and reporting as is
