Create Item Under Category No Longer Associates
Recently the category selector on the items page, in the dashboard, changed to a pop-up. Now if you are under a category and create a new item it no longer automatically associates the new item with that category. You now have to select the category for every new item as it's added. Can someone help with this? This is the third update now that is making Square less and less efficient.

@Jeppie I thought that was the case as well with the new update, but when I saved the item it did automatically save it under the category I was in. When I was creating the item is said it was not assigned to a category but when I saved it it did save to the category without me having to do any extra work.

I just did a test to see if that was the case and unfortunately it’s not. When still working under that category all of the items will show up but then if you refresh and go into that category again, those items are gone. At least for me. I only discovered this issue because we started to have items ringing in as uncategorized.

Hey @Jeppie, I want to confirm if you are refreshing the page or saving your changes before refreshing the page.
