Square Stands are awesome, we have 3. the real question is what are you trying to get out of Square to decide if you need the paid Square for Retail or if you can use the free Square POS. We use the Square POS app and love it, we do all of our business information and reporting on the backend in our own spreadsheets. The two apps have completely different interfaces with Square POS being a touch-based grid layout approach and Square for retail mostly being a barcode-based interface.
