Add Item changes ruined this function

WHO had to bright idea to screw up the Add Item functionality. I used to be able to add variants on one screen and could cut and paste among them. Now it's one at a time, meaning TIME CONSUMING.

Please restore.

Do you ever watch actual retailers doing their job and try to understand how they function before making such idiotic changes?

Hello @purplebutterfly, I'll make sure to share your feedback with the Item Library Team.

If you're making multiple changes to an item or it's variations, you might find the csv export option more efficient. Especially if you do a lot of cut, copying, and pasting.

@purplebutterfly - this is a great point!  I was just editing variations for a number of items, and was so annoyed it was one at a time because I couldn't copy and paste, and couldn't see which SKUs I had defined to ensure I didn't duplicate any.  The old way of a pop-up screen that let you add multiples, and expanded as you added more, was more efficient and user friendly.

@Chad - While a CSV import/export can be useful (it was great for updating all my prices after a recent price increase), when creating single items or editing existing items, the old way was better.  The CSV process is very cumbersome and time consuming when you only need to edit/create 1 or a few items.  In addition, creating a variations in a CSV file is, to me, the most complex and difficult part of understanding how to use the CSV - and the easiest to make a mistake with - and I'm a former tech consultant.  Either restoring the old-way, or providing an option for both or the ability to pick which you use, would be immensely helpful.
