Ability to Scan a Drivers Liscense or State ID card.

So the other day I was getting a Lottery Ticket and a beer.  The person at the register asked me for my Drivers Liscense.... so to be funny I gave them my old Expired DL.  The clerk scanned it and said he could not sell me the items because my DL was expired.  So I gave them my current one and it was fine.  So for testing purposes I used my 2D barcode scanner and a laptop to scan my DL to see what they could see.  There are actually 2 barcodes on my DL.... one is a 1D barcode that gives a number about 15 digits long, the other is a 2D MicroPDF417 possibly, which when scanned looks like jibberish.  But when I started looking at it it has my full name, DOB, address including state and zip, DL Number, etc in it.  

Big Brother is always watching.....

Anyway my question / Idea is.... Can Square setup a way that when a customer wants to use a CC in person that we can scan this to add to the Transaction? I keep seeing people say how they have Charge Backs and I am just trying to get a way to PROVE this person actually made the purchase and is not just looking for ways to get items for free.    For online maybe have people upload a picture of the front back of their ID.    Yes, I understand this may cut down on sales but it may also cut down on these Scam artists from trying to do illigitamate charge backs and give us sellers more amunition to defeat these people.  I know when people use to start using a CC we asked for ID, for in person sales.  Now people have security cameras and video of these transactions and the Bank always sides with their customer and not with the business.  Square we business owners are your customers so please do something that Helps us defeat the banks from stealing from your customers (us Business owners).  All you would need is a Text Box for the transaction that we could tap when asking for the ID and then a Scanner would scan the information to the text box to hold in case there is a dispute for that transaction.

I just was not sure if this was on the board somewhere else about scanning ID's for liquor sales or other types of sales that require ID.  I will post this as an Ideate tho.
