It would be great for 1 receipt showing each payment from the Total subtracting each payment for the purchase until the amount owed is $0.00.
I see alot of requests for this because customers get confused and sometimes so does the staff. My issue might be different as my Retail shop is a Vacation area, where local hotels give out Visa Gift cards. So I had a $300 Purchase. Customer wanted to use a bunch of $25 Visa Gift cards and then their own for the remaining balance. So after like the 5th or 6th Card the receipts all looked the same and I was getting confused which one went with which card and what was still remaining because the Printed receipts were just confusing. Now you could have a toggle button when you Choose Split tender for 1 receipt or individual receipts per Payment. This way in retail for me it is the same person paying with all types of payments, if its different party members then we ring it up separately, I do understand for restaurants you could have say a party of 12 which would be 6 different bills or could be split payments equally. the other thing here is lets go Green..... How much paper is being wasted because of all these receipts for each payment with Business name, contact, address, etc on the receipt instead of a line or two that shows a different CC and amount deduction.
