How do I accept payments with a card reader in the US?
So my business revolves around exhibitions. There’s a couple big ones in the US I would love to go to. I’m aware that my UK card reader (with my UK square account) will not work abroad. How do I find a solution to this and be able to take card payments in America?
Thanks 🙂

Hi @Wo123, welcome to the Seller Community! Thanks for your post.
Accepting in-person payments abroad is not supported with Square due to country specific regulations. You can send an invoice or a checkout link to your international customers but your UK card reader won't work in the US.
If you are selling in the US, you will need to open a US account with Square. However, please note that there are some specific informations required to create a new US account such as Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). For more information on the requirement, please visit our Support Centre.

I believe you could use Virtual Terminal and enter card details manually
