Tablets that work for entering tickets
I own a small restaurant. I’m looking for tablets that can be used SPECIFICALLY for creating open tickets. We already have an iPad for our register. We want our servers to be able to use tablets to enter their orders rather than writing them on a paper ticket. I realize iPad minis would work well but looking to save a few bucks if there are others. Any suggestions? Thanks.

In the past i've used an android tablet I picked up from Walmart (Intel NexBook for $70) and it worked fine for me. Not sure about the durability of it over repeated use, but it should work for you as well.
The android version of the Point of Sale app has a few visual differences from the iPad version, but it can save tickets and print with no difficulty.
