Stacking $ and % discounts

When I stack a $ off discount and a % off discount, the % takes off from the original total instead of the new -$ total.

For example, a customer buys $40 worth of items, has a coupon for $10 off, and I give them a loyalty 10% off.

Right now it goes $40 - $10 = $30 - ($40 x 10%) = $26

It would be great if it goes $40 - $10 = $30 - ($30 x 10%) = $27

Is there a way to get the % off the new subtotal instead of the original amount?

I end up losing a decent amount of money because of this.

Hello @pessosices,

You bring up an interesting point! So if your compounding discounts the percent discount will always be applied first and then the dollar discount will follow.

Currently we don't have a work around for this. The only option you would have is to do the math manually, but this isn't realistic if you aren't dealing with whole numbers. I will make sure to pass this feature request along to our product team.

If you have any other questions or just wanna chat, feel free to reply back! 😃
