Question about settling tips

Question about tip tracking...  How are tips tracked and paid out to the appropriate employee?  Does the tip go to the employee who is logged in and who started the tab, or does the tip go to the employee that settles the tip at the end of the night, even if the tab were opened under another employees log in?

This has always been a difficult task. As a mobile detailer - the best work around we have found is to put the initials of each staff member in the notes section of the item you're ringing up. Then at the end of payroll, you can export the transactions and divide the tip amount by how many employees were on the transaction etc. Hope this helps. If i can help anymore let me know!
