Item Library Update made my site unusable.

Again, I have no idea if there is a fix for this but I am actively losing money and aggravating my customers with the clunky transition to the square item library from what i originally used on weebly.

Why can I only sort by name and not by price or type or any way that fits my needs to update my website?! Why is there not an option to see if the item is currently available, hidden or unavailable? Most of the time when i update availability it doesn't post the update and I have to do it several times. Options on food are a drag to sort through now. I used to be able to click the item and edit any of the options, in saying that, they used to update live, now its 50/50 if the changes post to the site. Lastly anytime the item library page refreshes all filters that were applied are cleared, that it crazy in the middle of a lunch rush when I need to edit something and I now have another three steps in doing so.

Was there a Beta test on this forced update? How did no one catch this. Am I missing something?!

@outposttacoma I haven't encountered the problems that you are necessarily happening.  I do know that updates to the item catalog do take a couple of minutes to post online when editing descriptions/pictures etc.  The site polling has some sort of interval.  Now, putting stuff out of stock with the kds seems to work pretty fast (less than 30 seconds).  But I have had orders get through if it was scheduled and paid or if in their cart right before I put out of stock.

As far as the sorting, can you give me an example of the flags?  I know under the filters you can click inventory and their is the "sold out" button and it will show you all sold out items.  There is the available/unavailable/hidden filter and the sales channel also.  

As far as options...are you using options to do your variations?  what is an option list you are editing if you don't mind me asking?

There are some nice bulk action items.  I can take 5 items now and change the categories, then the channels, and they finally have an ARCHIVE and UNARCHIVE option.  I can archive an item and it disappears from everyone but the catalog in my online dashboard.  It makes it so handy to get rid of something to use at a later date.
