How to delete a section on a floor plan?

I want to delete a section on my floor plan.  I deleted all the tables in the section, but I cannot delete the section itself and it keeps on showing up on my Checks screen in the Restaurant app.

Have you tried deleting the section in a web browser, more specifically Chrome? Trying this avenue instead of the app would give you the option to delete the section you've cleared out. 

Please let me know if you have any other questions or this doesn't do the trick.

I ran up to the same issue here. There is no way to erase a section. Even if the floor plan is erased, the sections created, are there for ever..
