Coursing bug
Our restaurant uses both Square iPad Stands and handheld Terminals, and we use coursing (course 1, course 2, etc.). Here's the issue we noticed:
Say a server uses a Square Terminal to put in an order for item A in course 1, item B in course 2, and item C in course 3. They then send the order to the kitchen, and item A gets fired, while item B and item C are held. This part is working correctly.
Later on, the server wants to double check that they put in the correct items, so they go on the Square iPad Stand to look at that order/check again, and then exit out of the check. Immediately, all the remaining courses get fired at once. This issue does not happen on the Square Terminal.
Is this a known bug?

Hey @LionelC,
Welcome to the Community, and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention—I can see how that could become a significant problem.
1. Could you confirm the steps your servers are taking when they view orders on the Square terminal? Are they selecting "Exit" or "Fire"?
2. Are you logged into Square for Restaurants on all devices, or is it the standard Square Point of Sale?
3. Also, are all devices enabled for Coursing?
You can find more information about setting up Coursing for Square for Restaurants here.
I look forward to your reply.

Hi Robyn,
Thanks for your reply! I spoke to Paige on the Customer Success team and I think I was able to resolve the issue with her help. We didn't have coursing enabled on the iPad. Once enabled, I tested it and the issue did not happen.
